Motlow State established itself as a statewide leader in Mechatronics over a decade ago. Through partnerships with area universities and Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology (TCAT), Motlow has established multiple pathways that lead to high-paying jobs in Mechatronics.
The deadline to apply for summer semester classes is May 25. Go to www.mscc.edu/apply. Summer courses begin June 1 and will continue as in previous semesters, primarily online.

Motlow State Community College will re-open its campuses to in-person students for the fall semester. Motlow's reopening aligns with the Tennessee Board of Regents institutions across the state.
The Motlow College Foundation has established the Kim Welch Stockton Memorial Nursing Scholarship in conjunction with her family to honor Kim's passion and service in the nursing field. Kim was a 1976 graduate of Motlow State's nursing program.
The Motlow College Foundation is scheduled to host the Smyrna Golf Tournament on Friday, May 21, at the Smyrna Golf Course, located at 101 Sam Ridley Parkway.
Motlow State Community College was honored on April 19 by members of the Tennessee General Assembly to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the College's opening. The anniversary actually took place in 2020, but formal recognition had to be deferred due to COVID-19.
