Uniforms

You cannot attend clinicals until you have a full uniform. There is at least a 3 week turn around from 580 Graphics. If You have questions about your uniform order, please reach out to kmoffitt@mscc.edu. Do not call them directly . We will handle all direct contact with our vendor. All orders must be placed by May 23, 2025 at 4:00 PM.

Uniforms will be ordered through: 580 Graphics and Galls.

Go to www.motlowems.com and enter the password: motlowems2024. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “EMT/AEMT Program.” You are REQUIRED to order two shirts, one hooded sweatshirt, a reflective safety vest, and either a coat -OR- vest from 580 Graphics. You will not be able to wear a jacket or pullover on your clinical rotations unless it is ordered through this website.

Although you are only required to buy one uniform, it is recommended to have an extra so that if you soil a uniform on a clinical you will have another. It also helps in that you will not have to wash your uniform at night in between classes/clinicals. Shirts are non-refundable. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of purchaser. Please reference the sizing chart if you have questions regarding sizing. Credit/Debit cards will be charged in full at the time of the order. All orders will be delivered to you.

In order to get some items for your uniform (Pants, Boots, Belt, etc) you will need to send your name and preferred email to Instructor Ashley Wingard at: awingard@mscc.edu. You must include your preferred email and your name so she can set up an account for you to order from. She will then email you with a link and your credentials to access the site.

If you do not send your information, you will not be granted access to this site. Please allow a few days for a response as she will be processing all other student requests as well.

You must order at least one of each of the following items from this website unless you have the items that are in excellent condition and in good working order:

Pants, Belt, Boots, Penlight, Stethoscope, Safety Glasses (ANSI Approved) and Trauma Shears.

** You are required to wear your full uniform every day to class.**

First Responder

Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) save lives and make critical decisions by responding to emergency medical calls. This is a fast-paced, high-energy program and we expect you to utilize those characteristics when you exit the program. EMS graduates are detail-oriented, empathetic, compassionate, systematic, and can be authoritative and directive.

Motlow has a wide variety of options for first responder jobs in high demand. Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT) are first responders. EMT graduates traditionally proceed to the AEMT certificate. Many then advance to become Paramedics.

EMT and AEMT students can complete a program in one semester each, while Paramedic students can complete a program in three semesters. EMS graduates are eligible to sit for their National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) cognitive and psychomotor examinations. Successful completion of these exams is recognized by the TN Division of Emergency Medical Services for State Licensure. Both EMT and AEMT have many hours of Lab as well as Clinical experience obtained in the field with currently licensed EMTs and Paramedics.

Certificates are programs of study that vary in length and prepare you for occupational employment.
